We are looking for a Devops Engineer!
NK Services (Hungary) Ltd. has been a dynamically developing Hungarian company for 15 years. We provide data centre, cloud and operations services with market-leading technologies for SMEs and large enterprises. Main tasks, jobs:
- Design and support automated software development, testing and production environments
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (mainly Gitlab and Jenkins)
- Managing and enhancing our microservice environments hosted in our private/hybrid cloud service
- Design, monitoring and development of customer microservice environments, migration - from proposal to pre-sales activities and day-to-day operations (remote and on-site)
- Planning, implementing and managing the on-boarding of new clients
- Preparation of technical content of tenders and technical documentation, drawing and updating system/application topology diagrams
- Aligning and improving our supervisory systems
- Troubleshooting and recovery
- Level 2-3 support and consulting for our customers on DevOps topics
- Working closely with our infrastructure and software development teams
Expectations of the job:
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in DevOps/software development
- Up-to-date knowledge of using and operating Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes container running environments
- Experience in building, operating and debugging CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab or Jenkins)
- Knowledge and use of the following technologies: kubectl, helm, git, gitlab, gitlab runner, springboot, SQL
- Confident knowledge and use of scripting languages: bash, perl, python, go, powershell, etc.
- Public and/or private cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google, Vmware)
- Basic server management experience (Windows, Linux) - OS installation, configuration, upgrade
- Openness to learn other manufacturers/solutions
- Native level of Hungarian and communicative level of English (written and oral English required for communication with foreign clients)
To be considered for the post, you will have:
- Deep experience in the following technologies: postgres, mysql, mongodb, MS SQL, redis, MQ, keycloak, nginx, harbor
- Automated infra as code solutions (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, GitOps)
- High availability, automatically scalable solutions (HA clusters, geo redundancy, auto-scaling, etc.)
- Knowledge of automated software testing solutions (unit tests, code quality tests, UI tests, performance tests, automated sandboxing)
- Metrics, monitoring, logging, incident management (Prometheus, Fluentd, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
- Backup solutions (DB backups, consistent application level backups, backup of k8s environments)
- If you are not afraid of custom solutions, using and developing your own scripts/tools
